A woman was found d.e.a.d on the circumvallation of Lake Amatitlán.
The incident occurred at kilometer 24, circumvallation of Lake Amatitlán.
Volunteer firefighters reported an armed attack against a female individual. The incident took place at kilometer 24, circumvallation of Lake Amatitlán.
Upon arriving at the scene, they noticed that the woman had multiple gunshot wounds; upon evaluation, it was determined that she was already deceased.
The victim’s body was found beside the asphalt with two bullet impacts. The woman, approximately 20 to 25 years old, could not be identified. Rescuers indicated that she was wearing light blue canvas pants, a black shirt, and white sneakers with purple.
Preliminarily, it is known that the woman arrived at the location on a motorcycle with another person, who, during an argument, allegedly shot her in vital areas, causing her d.e.a.t.h.
The National Civil Police (PNC) arrived at the scene to cordon off the area while waiting for prosecutors from the Public Ministry (MP) to collect evidence and subsequently the body in order to investigate the case and look into the deceased victim.
